The Canton Fair is not only an exhibition of products, but also a company’s image, productivity, credibility and salesmen. Here I’d like to suggest:
1. Salesmen should send their company’s invitation to all the possible customers and inform them of their exact position of the pavilion in the exhibition hall.
2. Needless to say, the exhibits should be displayed neatly, orderly and somewhat artistically. Besides, you should look around to see if your neighbors have the same or similar exhibits. Remember to invite the customers, who go out from your neighbors’ exhibits, to your exhibit, for you may thereafter have a new client.
3. You’d better save your energy for the second to fourth day of the Canton Fair, during which there will be much more guests to visit your pavilion.
4. Pay attention to your personal image when talking to your customers.
5. Keep a detailed record of business negotiations.
6. Don’t spend too much time on one client.
